do i need to be a coach to join?
no. the teacher training is for aspiring and experienced coaches who want to learn the bct method. the workshop is open to everyone who wants to experience bct.
i've never done a bct class. can i still join?
yes! we highly recommend joining the bct workshop + supersession before the training. it's the best way to feel the method, understand the philosophy and decide if the teacher training is right for you.
is the workshop mandatory?
no, it's optional. but if you've never experienced bct before, we strongly recommend it.
what happens during the workshop?
you learn the story, philosophy and principles behind bct, experience a full bct supersession exactly as it's taught in bali, and finish with an open q&a about the method and the teacher training.
what are the training hours?
each training day runs from 8:00 to around 17:00, with short breaks and a lunch break.
what will i learn?
over four immersive days you learn the complete bct method: movement fundamentals, coaching, cueing, rhythm, music, programming and class creation, plus communication, community building and finding your own coaching style. practical teaching every day, with individual feedback.
will i be teaching during the training?
yes. you practise coaching from day one: exercises, transitions, short circuits and finally complete class sections, with individual feedback to build your confidence.
what makes bct different?
bct is built on time under tension, mind-muscle connection, intentional movement, rhythm and coaching. instead of memorising choreography, you learn the principles behind the method so you can create your own classes.
will i receive a certificate?
yes. after successfully completing the training you receive your official bct teacher certificate at the graduation.
do i get support after the training?
absolutely. you get continued support through our video library, direct mentorship and our growing international bct coach community. beto and caro are there for your questions as you start teaching. if you need extra practice, beto may offer an optional fifth mentoring day for class creation, practical teaching and feedback.
